A big thank you to everyone that made PPIG 2008 such a success.  That includes to everyone who presented papers, asked questions and got involved in the discussions.  I hope everyone got as much out of the conference as I did.

Registration

Registration will be open from 10am to 10.30am at Infolab, and at 1.30pm until 2pm at the Chaplaincy.

Where to get breakfast

Many of the campus cafes are still on summer hours, and so do not open until 9 or 9.30am.  This should be no problem for Wednesday (and I can recommend the eggs on toast at the Infolab Cafe).  Diggles (near the Spar, just of the central square) is open from 8am for take away coffee and bacon/egg/sausage sandwiches so thats at least one option for Thursday and Friday.  I’ll keep my eyes open for other options.

Venues

The main conference will be at the Chaplaincy Centre.  This is what it looks like (picture from wikipedia):

The Doctoral Consortium and the Wednesday night meal will be at Infolab:

Both of these buildings are pretty hard to miss!
